A great day out

Group Visits to Hampton Court Castle

Hampton Court Castle welcomes groups and coach parties, and we offer discounted rates for groups of 20 or more.

We recommend you allocate at least two hours to explore the gardens as there is a lot to see and the adventurous types may also wish to take on the Maze and visit the Sunken Garden. Lunch is available in the Orangery Cafe, and there are also picturesque river walks that take 30-60 minutes to complete, which offer wonderful views of the Castle and beautiful Herefordshire countryside.

The Orangery

The Orangery Cafe overlooks the South Lawns and offers lunch, hot drinks and homemade cakes. It is a great place to eat and unwind in between the day’s activities. There is also locally sourced ice cream available from the Orangery Cafe. You can find more information on the Orangery Cafe page.

Guided Tours

Guided tours take around 45 minutes, and are conducted by one of our team of experienced and engaging tour guides, who will show you some of the spectacular rooms inside the Castle, whilst talking you through the history of the estate.

On some event days tours will be self-guided, and if the Castle is in use for a private function tours will not be available. If this is the case we will advise you at the time of confirming your booking.
